Visiting Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory

Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) hosts geoscientists that research all around the world.  Dr. Sidney Hemming is studying the massive floods that covered the Northwestern United States over 12,000 years ago.  She is a geochemist, looking at the elements in sediments to see how they traveled.  What questions do you have about these floods?
