Saving Fred
Our first activity was "Saving Fred". The class showed great teamwork in determining how to save Fred, and then worked to write a reproducible procedure. In all cases Fred was saved, and we realized how important it was to include good directions and even written diagrams in our procedures.

I worked in a group of three and we struggled a little to save Fred because he kept falling when we picked him up with the paper clips. After a lot of trial and error we finally figured out how to get him to stay in the paperclips and get his head through the lifesaver.
My partner and I had trouble getting Fred through the lifesaver but we pulled through!
My partner and I decided to develop a plan before attempting to save Fred in the end our strategy worked and Fred was saved.
