This week we modeled a clinical trial. Some students received a new "medicine" for their headache, and others received a placebo. A few students experienced side effects, but did recover quickly.

The drinks I had didn't taste good because I received a placebo.
This experiment actually worked on me! I did not think that I would get fooled that easily!!☻
When I was drinking the pink drink I got a minor stomach ache, does this still count as a side effect?
The stomach ache is a side effect. Now one has to decide the trade-off, is it better to have a minor stomach ache, and get rid of the headache; or should you just keep the headache?
Now I know what it's like to be in a clinical trail :)
I was surprised I was fooled that easily in the placebo group!!!
