Touring Kennedy Space Center

There are over 5,000 people here waiting to attend the launch.  It is now a 40% chance for a go, hopefully the clouds will clear.
Here are some pictures from today.  AstroBear is standing in front of a model of the Hubble.  I am getting suited up for space!  I will try to upload more pictures as we await the launch today

Kennedy Space Center

We are waiting to hear Bill Nye the Science Guy speak.  Puffy did not come today, but AstroBear showed up to see the Atlantis shuttle exhibit.  Pictures will be uploaded soon.

We Made It To Kennedy Space Center!

We arrived late Friday night.  Spent Saturday at Kennedy Space Center, listening to the science briefings.   The launch is scheduled for Monday, but it has been cloudy here.  Hope it clears up!
The first picture has Puffy standing on top of a scale model of the Sojourner Mars Lander.  It was much smaller than Curiosity!   The second picture has Puffy looking down on a small model of the MAVEN.  Remember, it is the size of a school bus.

Practicing Pulse and AED's

Ms. Clinkenbeard brought in the AED trainers to show us how to use the AED's and perform CPR.  We also practiced taking our pulse, and used stethoscopes to listen to our heartbeat.

Circulatory System

Can you perform this rap, or make a new one?  I would love a Scofield song on any of the body systems!

This one was performed by Rythm Rhyme

Digestion Song

Practice the digestive song to learn how food passes through our bodies.  Many thanks to our Black Team "Digestive Choir".  We will be taking volunteers for our circulatory rap this week. Comment below if you are interested!

Looking for Carbon Dioxide

This week we started to look at the respiratory system.  How does BTB help us find carbon dioxide?
